Apollo at the FSM Awards

Apollo Named ESG Company of the Year at FSM Awards 2026

Apollo's latest industry recognition celebrates a year of significant sustainability achievements, spanning responsible sourcing, product transparency and environmental innovation.

Last week Apollo had the honour of being recognised as ESG Company of the Year at the FSM Awards 2026, celebrating our commitment to embedding environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles across operations, products and supply chain. This award reflects a year of significant progress in our sustainability strategy focused on reducing environmental impact without compromising on innovation and long-term value for customers and stakeholders alike.

The award reflects the progress Apollo has made in embedding sustainability throughout the business as part of our People, Planet and Product strategy. Over the past year, we have delivered a range of initiatives designed to reduce environmental impact, improve transparency and strengthen responsible business practices.

Among these achievements was Apollo’s attainment of Platinum EcoVadis certification, placing the company among the top 1% of businesses globally assessed for sustainability performance. We have also continued to strengthen our commitment to responsible sourcing through the launch of a new Supplier Code of Conduct and Ethical Sourcing Policy, helping to ensure high standards across the supply chain.

The business has introduced several product-focused sustainability initiatives, including the transition of detector dust covers from virgin PVC to 97% recycled PET (rPET), reducing virgin plastic use by 97% while creating a fully recyclable solution. We have also expanded the use of digital installation guides, which have already helped eliminate more than 250,000 printed pages, improving accessibility for installers while reducing paper consumption.

Further demonstrating this commitment to transparency and sustainable product development, most recently we have secured Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for key product ranges, providing independently verified environmental performance data and enabling customers to make more informed sustainability decisions.

This award reflects how sustainability has become part of Apollo's culture and everyday decision-making. It belongs to the many colleagues across the business who continue to embed it into the way we design, manufacture and operate.
