Apollo’s Sustainability Strategy

We are devoted to a sustainable future and have embarked on this journey to build our knowledge and expertise. We are united with Halma plc, and our global supplier and customer partnerships to make a positive impact in our industry.

Our sustainability strategy supports our parent company’s (Halma plc), vision of a safer, cleaner, and healthier future. It prioritises three Key Sustainability Objectives that are aligned with our purpose and most relevant to our company, industry, and products.

  • Planet:  Our UK manufacturing operations now run on 100% renewable electricity, supported by onsite solar, contributing to over a 20% improvement in energy productivity since 2019.
  • Product:  We continue to reduce material use, improve durability, and design for long, compliant lifecycles without compromising safety or performance. For example, switching our red to blue dust covers from virgin PVC to recycled PET has reduced virgin plastic use in packaging by over 97%.
  • People:  Sustainability is embedded into our culture through training, inductions and working groups, enabling teams across the business to take ownership.
