Strengthening Responsible Sourcing at Apollo

Ethical Sourcing and the Apollo Supplier Code of Conduct

Explore how Apollo puts strong supplier partnerships and ethical sourcing at the forefront of our "People, Planet, Product" mission.

At Apollo Fire Detectors, we believe strong supplier partnerships are built on doing the right thing, with integrity, transparency and respect for people and the planet. That’s why we have launched our new Supplier Code of Conduct, setting out the minimum standards we expect across ethical business practices, labour standards, human rights, legal compliance, environmental responsibility and due diligence.

The Code aligns with Halma Group requirements and supports delivery of Apollo’s wider sustainability commitments, guided by our People, Planet and Product framework and set out in our Sustainability Policy and Strategy.

Doing the right thing is not just good business, it’s the foundation of lasting partnerships. This Supplier Code of Conduct reflects our commitment to ethical, transparent and responsible practices, and the standards we expect across every interaction.

Strengthening Ethical Sourcing across the Supply Chain.

Alongside the Supplier Code of Conduct, we have also published our new Ethical Sourcing Policy, which sets out how we conduct ourselves in supplier selection, procurement and day-to-day supplier relationships. The policy focuses on fair and transparent sourcing, responsible business-to-business ethics, social responsibility, sustainability, and compliance with applicable regulations, providing a clear framework for how ethical sourcing is embedded into Apollo’s supply chain decisions.

Together, the Ethical Sourcing Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct reinforce Apollo’s expectations and provide clarity on both how we operate and what we expect from our suppliers.

Supporting Suppliers with a Simpler, No Cost Assessment Route.

As part of strengthening supplier engagement, we are working with IntegrityNext as the supplier engagement platform, replacing the previous relationship with EcoVadis. IntegrityNext is designed for sustainability due diligence across key sustainability topics and, importantly, enables suppliers to complete assessments free of charge, reducing barriers to participation.

It also supports requesting suppliers to sign our Code of Conduct as part of onboarding and ongoing engagement.

Our suppliers play a critical role in delivering trusted life-safety solutions. Publishing our Ethical Sourcing Policy alongside the Supplier Code of Conduct and moving to IntegrityNext makes our expectations clear while removing unnecessary barriers for suppliers to engage, assess and improve.

We will introduce these requirements on a phased basis and will continue to work collaboratively with suppliers to support improvement and meet evolving regulatory, customer and sustainability expectations.
